a clean slate and a fresh look

So fresh and so clean clean. Finally I've shown some love for my site, and pushed out a new design. It's been much overdue, and I'm happy with the way it turned out. Although a little skimped on content at the time, I'm hoping to keep that coming.

What's new?

On the front end side, you'll notice a clean and flat look. With some new colors choices. Also, using the yui css framework.

But on the back end, a whole bunch has moved around. I've finally dropped wordpress from my stack, and am now using Jekyll, and writing my posts in markdown, yay for that! Also, I moved into the rackspace cloud, and have stepped up in the world by ditching ftp and moving to capistrano rake for deploying my site.

I have to give it up to my comrades for all the help on this. Adam Patten and Brian Smith got me interested in Jekyll, as they also migrated from wordpress recently.
